About Mr. Agarwal

Mr. Tushar Agarwal is as a well-known Colorectal and General Surgeon at the London North West NHS Trust, encompassing Ealing, St Marks, and Central Middlesex Hospitals. Mr Agarwal successfully completed his Higher Surgical Training through the North West Thames Surgical Rotation, culminating in the award of an FRCS (Intercollegiate), with a specialization in Colorectal Surgery.

Mr. Agarwal pursued a one-year fellowship in Colorectal Surgery at University College Hospital and Guys & St. Thomas’ Hospital and also trained at the world-renowned Colorectal Unit at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio and the Trauma unit of Charlotte Maxeke Hospital in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Mr. Agarwal specializes in Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery, conducting both laparoscopic and open procedures for Colorectal Cancers and Inflammatory Bowel Disease. He routinely performs Proctology procedures, encompassing surgery for haemorrhoids, anal fissures, and anal fistulae, as well as pilonidal sinus surgery. Mr Agarwal has expertise in colorectal cancers and proctology and has been the Multi team Disciplinary Meetings (MDT) lead for colorectal cancers and is an integral member of the St. Marks Colorectal Cancer MDT. Additionally, Mr. Agarwal also undertakes general surgical procedures, including hernia repairs and various emergency general surgical procedures.

He is recognized as a JAG approved endoscopist and trainer for junior doctors, conducting diagnostic Upper GI Endoscopies and colonoscopies. Mr. Agarwal holds the position of Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College, London and also serves as  a Training Programme Director for Foundation Year Trainees based at Ealing Hospital and acts as a Consultant Trainer at the London Deanery Skills Lab. His expertise is highly regarded within the London North West Deanery, where he serves as a recognized Consultant trainer for higher surgical trainees.
