About Mr. Camilleri-Brennan
Mr. Camilleri-Brennan is a General and Colorectal Surgery Consultant, practicing at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, Stirlingshire (NHS Forth Valley), and in the private sector. He is currently the Lead Clinician for Colorectal Cancer at Forth Valley and the former Clinical lead of the Colorectal Cancer Screening Programme. He also holds the Honorary Clinical Associate Professor in Surgery position with the University of Glasgow.
In 2022 he was elected Vice-President (Surgical) of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. He held posts as Associate Director of Surgical Examinations, Regional Advisor, and College Tutor within this College.
A graduate of the University of Malta, Mr. Camilleri-Brennan received his postgraduate surgical training primarily in Dundee and Aberdeen. He was awarded a Travelling Fellowship by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow that enabled him to pursue further studies in colorectal surgery at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, USA. His research on rectal cancer led to a doctorate from the University of Dundee.
Mr. Camilleri-Brennan performs all aspects of general and colorectal surgery, in the particular gall bladder and hernia surgery, surgery for colorectal cancer and inflammatory bowel disease, laparoscopic surgery, and surgery for incontinence and pelvic floor disorders (including rectal prolapse and rectocele) especially following childbirth.
He is a Principal Investigator in a number of research projects, has published articles in major surgical journals, co-authored chapters in postgraduate surgical textbooks, and has presented prize-winning papers at many national and international meetings.
A recognised postgraduate surgical trainer, he is an elected member of the Faculty of Surgical Trainers of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is the recipient of the prestigious William Cullen Prize from the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in recognition of his and his team’s colorectal expertise.

Dr. Imran Ghanghro is a well-known Consultant Gastroenterologist practicing at Spire Little Aston. Mr. Bunni M.B., Ch.B (Honours), Diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery, FRCS [ASGBI Gold Medal] is a Consultant Colorectal and General Surgeon at the Royal United Hospital, Bath and Bath Clinic.
He completed his Basic Surgical Training in the South West of England, after graduating in Medicine from the University of Bristol “with Honours” in 2005..
Following his training, Mr. Bunni has completed a prestigious 1-year Fellowship in “Laparoscopic and Advanced Open Colorectal and Peritoneal Malignancy Surgery” at Basingstoke and also completed a Diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery by the University of Strasbourg, France.
Mr. Bunni has held numerous teaching positions including “Honorary Clinical Tutor” at the School of Physiology and Pharmacology, University of Bristol, and also “Honorary Clinical Surgical Tutor” for the Severn Deanery. He takes an active role in teaching locally in Bath and the Deanery and has set up a highly popular and successful local weekly teaching programme for junior doctors in Bath. He is also the surgical lead for Physician Associate students.
Mr. Bunni has published over 30 peer-reviewed papers in General and Colorectal Surgery; is the Author and Editor of a textbook on Peritoneal malignancy (“A Practical Guide to Peritoneal Malignancy: The PMI Manual” CRC Press, Nov 2019); author of a Textbook on ENT and Head and Neck Surgery (“The Essential Clinical Handbook for ENT Surgery” BPP Learning Media, Sep 2013) and also co-authored the chapter on “Surgery for Rectal Cancer” in the highly acclaimed and popular “Colorectal Surgery Companion Series, 6th Edition” (Elsevier, June 2018). He has also co-authored an online surgical oncology module and numerous local hospital handbooks.
Mr. Bunni is currently the Editor and reviewer for 14 Journals in Surgery and has reviewed grant applications for the “Bowel Disease Research Foundation”. He speaks locally and nationally on colorectal surgery.

About Mr. Bullock
Marc Bullock BM BCh, MA (oxon), Ph.D., FRCS is a Consultant Colorectal & General Surgeon at Sulis Hospital Bath.
Mr. Bullock gained his medical degree from the University of Oxford where he was awarded a Domus Scholarship, and numerous undergraduate prizes.
At University Hospital Southampton, Mr. Bullock combined training in colorectal and general surgery with research in molecular oncology and is widely published on the clinical applications in colorectal cancer of novel molecules called microRNAs. For his work, Mr. Bullock was awarded an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellowship and Clinical Lectureship, an MRC Clinical Research Fellowship, a CRUK post-doctoral research bursary, and numerous conference prizes.
Following the award of his Ph.D., Mr. Bullock pursued post-doctoral research at the world’s premier cancer institute (the MD Anderson Cancer Centre in Houston) as a Fulbright/Royal College of Surgeons Fellow. On his return to the UK,
Mr. Bullock completed a Clinical Fellowship in Robotic and Exenteration Surgery at the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust where he achieved accreditation in robotic surgery and trained alongside world-renowned gynae-oncologists, urologists, and colorectal surgeons.
Mr. Bullock’s combined passions are in medical education and humanitarian surgery, having worked for MSF in DR-Congo as well as establishing an essential surgical skills course in collaboration with the charity Mercy Ships and the Association of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland.
