About Mr. Peravali

Mr. Peravali qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2004 and since then has undergone the highest level of training in general and colorectal surgery. Over the last 15 years he has trained in some of the biggest and best surgical units in the country. These include University Hospital Birmingham, Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, and Cambridge University hospital. His training culminated in being selected for the prestigious “John Goligher Fellowship in advanced Coloproctology.”

During this fellowship, Mr. Peravali further developed highly specialised skills in keyhole surgery, bowel cancer surgery, surgery for inflammatory bowel disease, and the management of functional problems of the pelvic floor (particularly prolapse, constipation, and faecal incontinence). Mr. Peravali is the Clinical lead and IBD Lead for general surgery.

    Mr David McArthur is an experienced Consultant Colorectal, General and Laparoscopic Surgeon based in Birmingham. He has over 20 years’ experience treating haemorrhoids. Mr McArthur qualified from the University of Birmingham with Honours in Surgery. He was awarded an MD by the University of Warwick for his research into the pathogenesis of colorectal cancer, and later completed a fellowship in laparoscopic colorectal surgery at Leeds, where he developed a specialist interest in the management of patients with advanced and recurrent rectal cancer.
